Terms and Conditions

Effective 20 August 2026 / Version 1.0 / Avenir Legal Partners Limited

These terms govern the use of avenirlp.com. They are not the terms of any engagement with us. If we act for you, a separate engagement letter will set out the scope, the fees and the terms of that work, and it will prevail over anything on this page.

01Who we are

This website is operated by Avenir Legal Partners Limited, a limited liability company registered with the Registrar of Companies of Masdar City Free Zone, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, under license MC 14917, and licensed for Legal Consultancy and Tax Consultancy.

02Acceptance

By accessing or using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. You agree to use it only for lawful purposes and not to attempt to disrupt, probe or gain unauthorised access to it.

03No advice, and no client relationship

Reading this site does not make you our client, and writing to us does not either.

Everything published here is general information about our practice. It is not legal advice, tax advice or an opinion on any particular set of facts, and it must not be relied on as a substitute for advice on your own situation. Law and tax practice change, and pages on this site may not reflect the most recent position.

A relationship with us begins only when we have completed our client identification and conflict checks and both sides have signed an engagement letter. Until then, please do not send us confidential or privileged material: information sent before an engagement exists may not attract the protections you expect, and we may already be acting for another party.

04Where we are licensed

We are licensed to provide Legal Consultancy and Tax Consultancy from the United Arab Emirates. Nothing on this site is an offer to practise law in any jurisdiction where we are not authorised to do so, and it is not directed at any person in a jurisdiction where publishing it would be unlawful. Where a matter requires local qualification elsewhere, we say so and work with counsel who has it.

05Intellectual property

The content of this site, including its text, layout, graphics, and the Avenir Legal Partners name and mark, belongs to Avenir Legal Partners Limited or is used with permission. You may read it, print it and quote short extracts with attribution. You may not reproduce it substantially, republish it, sell it, or use it to train or populate another product or service, without our written permission.

06Accuracy and availability

We take care with what we publish, but we give no warranty that the site is complete, current or free of error, or that it will be available without interruption. We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.

07Links to other sites

Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites, do not endorse their content, and are not responsible for anything on them or for any dealings you have with their operators.

08Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, this website, including indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business or loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for fraud.

09Privacy

Information reaching us through this site or through contact with the practice is handled as described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

10Changes to these terms

We may amend these terms from time to time. The amended version takes effect when it is posted, and the version and effective date at the top of this page always show the current text. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept it.

11Governing law and jurisdiction

These terms and any dispute arising out of them or out of the use of this website are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, without regard to conflict of law rules. The courts of Abu Dhabi have exclusive jurisdiction, save that we may bring proceedings in any other jurisdiction where necessary to protect our rights.
